Terms of Service

Applies to the Vantap messaging platform, operated by Axis Optics LLP. Last updated: October 2026.

These terms are a working draft and should be reviewed by a lawyer before Vantap is offered to paying clients.

The service

Vantap provides an API and dashboard that lets a business connect its own WhatsApp Business Account and send messages to its contacts through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta.

Your responsibilities as a client

• You must obtain valid, documented opt-in consent from a contact before sending them marketing messages, and you are responsible for the accuracy of that consent.
• You must honor opt-out requests promptly. Vantap blocks messages to numbers that have opted out and to numbers without a recorded opt-in.
• You must keep your API keys secret and tell us immediately if you think one has been exposed.
• You must comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and all applicable laws, including data protection law, in the territories where your contacts are located.
• Message costs charged by Meta for your WhatsApp Business Account are billed directly to you by Meta, separately from any fee you pay to Vantap.

Our responsibilities

• We will make reasonable efforts to keep the API and dashboard available and to accurately reflect delivery status reported by Meta.
• We are not responsible for message delivery failures, account restrictions, or quality-rating changes caused by Meta, or by your use of the service outside Meta's policies.

Data protection

We process your customers' personal data only on your instructions and as described in our Privacy Policy. Message content is deleted after 90 days. A separate data processing agreement is signed with each client before real customer data is used.

Fees and billing

Vantap's own fees are agreed separately with each client and are billed independently of Meta's message charges.

Suspension

We may suspend access if your use of the service violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, these terms, or applicable law, particularly where it puts other clients' or Vantap's standing with Meta at risk.

Assignment

Vantap is currently operated by Axis Optics LLP. We may assign this agreement and the operation of the service to a successor entity, including a newly formed company, without reducing your rights under these terms. We will notify clients of any such change.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service develops. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
